![]() Each club varies in vibe due to the type of crowd it attracts. They provide so much and everything is so clean. I go to one in Southern California and I love it. Has anyone been a member or currently is one and can speak to if it’s worth the cost, what the environment is like, and the quality of the classes? Are they on par with a studio or is it your typical supplemental gym class? I did read some horror stories about difficulty cancelling memberships but I think that applies to a lot of gyms. I’m planning to drop in to take a tour but I’m struggling with the thought of paying 200 bucks a month for a membership (haven’t gotten an official quote yet but my coworker said it’s around that price) The main draw for me with equinox is the really nice facilities and the classes I like all under one roof. The class schedule is sparse which is why I have the class pass but I find myself going to the same couple of studios over and over (spin and barre) and then driving back to the gym to finish up my workout. ![]() Everything else about it is also very basic. The current issue I have with my gym is it’s over crowded by bro’s and I am not really able to use the weight area. The most I have ever paid for a gym is $120 a month which I felt was pricey and I’m currently going to a $45/mo basic gym and supplementing with class pass for another $50 bucks a month. So I’ve been wanting to join equinox for awhile now.
